OUT WITH A BANG!

Hope Afloat ended the 2023 Dragon Boat Season with a BANG – taking the overall SILVER MEDAL at the Mercer County Dragon Boat Festival on September 16, 2023.  We competed in two 200-meter, two 500-meter and one 2,000-meter races, against 4 other Breast Cancer Survivor teams.  We had just enough paddlers to fill the boat, including seasoned paddlers, newbies, and women still battling this dreaded disease.  The icing on the cake was that we were able to have our Coach, John, steer our boat and lead us on to victory.  We worked hard all year to make this happen.  It was a beautiful day on the water and a fantastic end to our paddling season!  2024, HERE WE COME!
