PROJECT CALL HOME

Hope Afloat's President, Linda Giovinco, has been doing this hat project for the last 12 years!  

With the help of teammates, we packaged over 650 hats, stuffed with gloves, scarves, mylar blankets, toothbrush kits, hand sanitizer and candy and delivered them to Prevention Point. Prevention Point is a full-service outreach for most of the Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia, and provides medical and physical services to the whole community. They also provide meals and warming tents to help the homeless and the rest of the community.
